Species and stock
What is actually here.
Logs in stock now, and a mill that travels to you.
In stock now
- Silver maple — logs, not yet milled
Urban salvage — trees that have already come down in Detroit. These logs came from the Boston Edison district.
No thickness, grade or moisture content is listed because a log does not have them yet — they are decided at the cut. Tell us what you are after and we will say whether these logs can yield it.
There is no milled stock to list yet. Right now we offer mobile milling: the mill comes to your log rather than us selling you ours.
- Portable sawing — On-site milling of logs at the client’s location.
- Slabbing — Wide live-edge slabs cut to order.
When there is stock to list, this page carries the species, thickness, grade and moisture content of each item — measured, not nominal. What we can do today, or ask about a job.
